Help for using Possessly during pre-launch development. Possessly is developed under the HomeProof project name during pre-launch development.
Getting started
Open the app and add your first asset from the Assets tab. Use the dashboard and tabs to move between assets, reminders, export, and settings.
Adding assets
Create asset records with names, purchase details, warranty information, and notes. Edit or delete records from the asset detail screen.
Adding receipt and photo attachments
From an asset’s detail screen, add attachments when you choose images from your device. Only add images you are comfortable storing locally on the device.
Warranty reminders
When warranty dates are recorded, the app can help plan reminder entries. Enable notifications on your device if you want platform reminders where supported.
Exporting data
Use Export Data to create CSV, JSON, or PDF files stored locally on your device. Export history lists files the app has written to local storage.
Sharing exports safely
When you share an export, you choose the destination through your device’s share sheet. Review what you share and who receives it. Exports may contain personal or sensitive information you entered.
Purchase and restore help (future only)
Paid Pro and in-app purchase restore are not available in the current pre-launch build. If store purchases are offered later, purchase and refund help will follow Google Play or Apple App Store policies.
Local data and device loss
Data stays on your device. There is no cloud sync or account recovery today. If your device is lost or reset without backups or exports, local records may not be recoverable.
Deleting local records
Delete assets, attachments, reminders, or export files from within the app or by removing files your device stores. Deletion is local to your device.
