Getting started

Android

Install or update Possessly through Google Play, then add your first asset from the Assets tab.

iPhone and iPad

The iOS version is being prepared for public App Store release and is not publicly released yet. There is no public App Store install or update link at this time.

Common topics

Local data and backups

Your records stay on your device. There is no account and no cloud sync in the current version. Create backups from Settings → Backup & Restore and save the file outside the app before changing devices or reinstalling.

Restoring a backup

Open Backup & Restore, choose restore, and select your `.possessly-backup.json` file. Restore replaces local data after confirmation — it is not a merge.

Exports

Export Data creates PDF, CSV, or JSON files on your device. Export history lists files the app has saved locally. Review exports before sharing — they may contain personal information.

Free limited version

The current app is a free limited version. Paid or Pro features and in-app purchases are not available in this release.

Uninstalling and data loss

Uninstalling the app or clearing app data may remove local records unless you saved a backup or export outside the app.

Android: Google Play install or update issues

If you previously installed a debug or sideloaded Android build, Google Play may not update until you uninstall the old build. Create a backup first, then install from Google Play. See the User Guide troubleshooting section.

Reminders and notifications

The current release shows reminders inside Possessly and does not schedule push or system notifications.
