Terms of Use
Effective date: TBD before public launch
These draft terms apply to Possessly, developed under the HomeProof project name during pre-launch development. By using the app, you agree to use it as an organization tool only, subject to final terms at public launch.
Organization tool only
Possessly helps you organize records on your device. It is not insurance, legal, tax, valuation, or financial advice.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of records, attachments, and exports you create or maintain.
No guarantees
Possessly does not guarantee:
- Insurance claim approval
- Legal proof or admissibility
- Product warranty validity or acceptance by any manufacturer or insurer
- Asset valuation
User-provided content
Attachments and records are user-provided. Exports are user-generated records created from information you entered or selected.
No cloud backup promise
At the current pre-launch stage, Possessly does not provide cloud backup or account-based recovery. Data loss may occur if your device is lost, damaged, or reset without your own backups or exports.
Future paid Pro
If a paid Pro tier is offered in the future, payment terms will be managed through the relevant app store. Pro is not available for purchase in the current pre-launch build.
Refunds
If in-app purchases launch in the future, refund requests will be handled according to the policies of Google Play or the Apple App Store, as applicable.
Limitation of liability
[Placeholder — to be finalized with legal review.] To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Possessly and its developers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app or reliance on exported records.
Governing law
Jurisdiction and governing law: TBD pending legal review.
This draft must be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before use as a public Terms URL.
